I was in college at 17 (b...You were a child bride. I was in college at 17 (barely) and finished my degree 3.5 years later a few days after I turned 21. I didn't have my first child until I was 25. I did take my sewing machine to college with me for relaxation purposes (I was a math major). The only other ones who had sewing machines were the home ec majors. Happy belated Valentines Day! My first brother was born in GA. My dad was in the service there. The army base in no longer there. He tells a funny story. He wrote to get his birth certificate and they had no record of his birth. Later, he did find out where all the births from that base had been moved and did receive it. My two brothers are very competitive and the other brother says - David is the brother is the Georgia Peach that turned out to be a Georgia Lemon. He has been very successful, so everyone knows it's a joke! Of course, David has a good joke to tell about the other brother, too!
