It's a Party With a Give-Away!!!
Michelle over at Quilting Gallery is having a Blog Hop Party to celebrate her site's 5th Birthday. I've participated in several of her events this year and they are always great. Thanks Michelle for being an awesome host! There are about 150 175 blogs in this event so you will have a lot of chances to win!
Welcome to my blog!
If you haven't been here before I hope you will take a little time and browse around a little. I am planning my first Linky Party for next week and would love to have you join it.
What shall I giveaway this time? I did a little prowling around in my inventory and came up with a few choices. Since it is December I thought I would stick to a Holiday theme.
First off I have a wonderful pattern The Christmas Lady by Sue Garman. She does such beautiful work!
The Christmas Lady Pattern |
This 57" x 67" quilt features a delightful scene of the Swedish Santa Lucia surrounded by toys. This quilt would make a wonderful family heirloom to be enjoyed for years to come. This pattern retails for $12 and has a colorful pieced star border in addition to all the beautiful applique work.
Next I came across 2 Kits for a little Santa Wall Quilt that I designed.
2 Kits for a Santa Wall Quilt |
The finished top measures about 24" x 25" and could look like this one below or be configured as shown in the direction sheet above. This one works up really fast and could be a last minute gift to make for someone special.
Santa Quilt Sample |
This Giveaway will have 3 Winners!!! One will win the pattern and the other 2 will each get a kit.
I will ship internationally.
While I have your attention let me tell you about the Linky Party I am having next week. I'm so excited and a little nervous about it too!

I love to collect Santas. My tree is decorated with them and most have a story of a place or occasion when I bought them. I have a ceramic Santa that my grandmother made. It's not the most stunning but it warms me. I'd love the Santa panel. Thanks.

I think Christmas lights are essential. They make a dreary room seem magical. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteHi, I follow you by subscription to email... and my fav decoration .... when I was a child we had a huge sparkley fan wheel, that opened out as an oriental fan does and was hung on a wall. Don't ask why I liked it, it was fairly hideous very 70's... but I did love it. That fan wheel optimises Xmas for me x Janey@bagsocharm.co.uk

ReplyDeleteI'm a follower! Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite Christmas decoration is the Santa Salmon my daughter made in grade 2. It's a real size salmon, coloured with crayon, two pieces of heavy paper, don't forget to draw a santa hat on there. The salmon is stuffed and stapled shut. It has lived from our living room ceiling fan since grade 2. She's now in grade 7 LOL.
ReplyDeleteIt's faded a bit but it swings gently when the fan spins and it's a little bit of Christmas kept out year round. (of course, we never seem to get around to pulling out the step stool to get up there and take it down...)

My favorite is the lollipops I made years ago to hang on the tree. I bought lollipop sticks, the right size styrofoam balls, then used Christmas fabric for the wrapper and tied with shiny ribbon. It was an easy craft that became a lasting heirloom for everyone in my family. debbie
