Welcome to the Quilting Lines
It's time for my FIRST LINKY PARTY!!! I'm excited about it and hope it all runs smoothly. If this is your first time here let me say WELCOME to my blog. I'd love it if you would take a look around and get to know me. There is more information About Me on my Side Bar and in some of the Posts I did for Blog Hops this Fall. I also have a few FREE PATTERNS available that were done for them.
The next week I'm going to be mostly talking about CHRISTMAS STOCKINGS. I will also be revealing what the PRIZES will be in my next post. I went through some things in my Studio and came up with a nice assortment of PATTERNS, BOOKS AND FABRIC. Those who add LINKS to their stockings will be in a drawing for prizes and those who leave COMMENTS will be in another drawing. I have to announce the WINNERS of the QUILTING GALLERY GIVEAWAY too so I thought I would just make a whole post for the PRIZES. (This link takes you to the next post for more details about the PRIZES pictured below.)
Add your Linky at the bottom of this post.
Leave comments on this post for the Giveaway!
Three - Half yard Cuts of Fabric |
Plus Books and Patterns |
I have made a number of Christmas Stockings over the years. I've taught a number of classes on how to make them too. I will be sharing some of techniques in the coming week as well as linking to some tutorials by other bloggers.
The first Christmas Stockings that I made were just from fabric panels. We have used them for many years and I will share some of them later. The first class I taught on Christmas Stockings was on making them with string piecing and the quilt as you go method. Here's one.
Then I got a little more creative and started making some Crazy Quilted Stockings. Here is pictures two of them. I'll be sharing more about how these are made later in the week.
Now let's see what some of your stockings look like! You may link up to THREE different stocking pictures or to a blog post that has multiple pictures. Please provide a link back to this page in your post. Please visit as many of the links as possible and comment on each one.
GIVEAWAY HAD ENDED
1- Leave a comment about the Christmas Stocking Hang Out here to be in drawings for the Goodies.

ReplyDeleteYour stockings are wonderful; each unique and special. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI'm not exactly sure I understand Linky Parties. I am right that I would need a blog in order to link up my stockings? I love your crazy quilting.
ReplyDeleteAll of your stockings are simply gorgeous. I really like the crazy patch stocking. It has a raindeer on this one. I have made a Christmas stocking but this doesn't even do justice, compared to the ones you have shared. I really need a tutorial and am waiting for help. Thank you for such a fun post.

Love this linky! I can't wait to post mine with pictures. Quick question: I made stockings last Christmas, can I add that linky? Also I'm getting ready to blog about my cross-stitch stockings that I just finished but instead of making them into traditional stockings I framed them individually - does that count? Everyone's stockings are so unique and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower. Love the stockings!

Like your socks. I too have done socks over the years. The first Christmas sock for grand is a small one with his/her name. Next year it is a patchwork one, and then I needlepoint one. My mother and then my sister knit each one. They hang on the mantle.

ReplyDeleteLove to see other people's stocking ideas. Many years ago I started making Christmas stockings for my immediate family. Now 20+ years later there are 14 stockings hanging from my mother's doorway and we are short 4. One for my beautiful new sister in law, my new son in law, my youngest grandson (Sorry Gabe seemed to miss you) and my soon to be husband. Now to start stockings for my new expanded family.

ReplyDeleteLove the variety of stockings and all the love put into each and every one. I crocheted stockings for my husband and myself in1981 for our first Christmas, adding as our children were born and then married. We lost my husband this year to cancer but gained our first granddaughter so we put her name on "PaPa's" stocking. That way it will be used for many years to come.
ReplyDeleteTherefore, it is to some degree emotional issue concerning deciding the genuine estimation of a logo structure. For example, an individual may consider that Logo An is the better logo contrasted with Logo B as a result of Logo A's more expensive rate tag. logo design service
