Giveaway Day



Are you ready for a Giveaway?  I think this one is fun because there are so many blogs participating.  Something for just about everybody.  A big thanks goes out to the crew over at Sew Mama Sew for putting this event together.  Anyone with a blog can participate in offering a Giveaway in any of the FIVE Categories.  Anyone with and email address can comment to WIN.  The only restrictions are in the shipping to choices.

 If you haven't stopped by before then WELCOME TO MY BLOG!!!  I hope you will take a few minutes to have a look see and get to know me a little.  You can find out a little more about me in the side bar.  More of my story is in my interview here at the Quilting Gallery.  There are a few FREE patterns I have designed that are available in the previous blog hop posts that are featured in the side bar too.

    My favorite quilting tools are my rotary cutters. A close 2nd is a battery powered scissor that I wasn't sure about when it was given to me, but it is great for trimming out a quilt.

    Not my fav tool but the most necessary is the seam ripper:( Yes I must rip and/or bleed on every project:) Have just come to grips with it and I don't get quite as upset if it happens and it usually does:)

    This won't be popular, but my favorite tool is my seam ripper. Can you imagine trying to correct blocks without it? I hope to never use it but when I need it I'm thankful I have it.

    I really should look up the actual name, but it is a seam ripper that has this little rubber thing on the lid that makes getting those little thread scraps a breeze to get out!

    My favorite notion is my Whiz Ripper Gripper! I do a lot of chain piecing and it holds my ripper up so I can just cut, cut, cut without scissors or snips! And the base is heavy enough to use for finger pressing purposes!

    Bright Ideas looks my style.. I am trying to get "out of my box" and do fun designs! My favorite notion is a rotary cutter and self healing matte for cutting my quilting pieces. I am from the day when we used tiny pins, a pencil, a ruler/tape measure to cut the pieces! Thanks for the drawing!

    My favorite quilting notion is hard-I have several I really love. One is my Quik Clip for opening and closing pin basting. The other is my Binding Buddy. You make your binding and roll it on the bobbin.... Then attach a ribbon on the eyes on the rotating eyes on both ends, and hang it around your neck. Start sewing the binding on the quilt, and every time you need more, just give the buddy bobbin a few rugs and more spools off--no twisting and falling!
